VideoScriptProvider and scope
VideoScript is provided by Salvador Romero (“we”, “us”). Questions about these terms can be sent to supportvideoscript@mex.studio. These terms describe use of VideoScript on iPhone and iPad and supplement the applicable App Store license and purchase terms.
Your App Store download is subject to the Apple Standard EULA, unless an applicable custom EULA was supplied with your purchase. These terms do not override mandatory consumer rights or the applicable Apple purchase/license terms.
What the app provides
VideoScript imports permitted Photos videos, transcribes speech, and helps you browse, search, edit and export associated text and metadata. Automatic language detection, summaries and suggested categories may be available subject to device, language, model and service requirements. Features and processing limits can vary by app version, device, language and subscription offer. No particular batch size, unlimited use, or fixed processing speed is promised here.
Keep access to source videos and retain your own copies of important material. A saved transcript, summary or checkpoint is not a backup guarantee. A missing or deleted source, insufficient storage, unavailable language assets, interruption or system error can prevent processing or playback.
Subscriptions, trials and billing
An active subscription is required for full access. Before purchase, the app and Apple purchase confirmation show the available plan, price, billing period, and any eligible introductory offer. Do not rely on an old website price or trial description. Apple processes payment through your Apple Account; RevenueCat manages subscription entitlements.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal charges and billing timing follow the terms displayed by Apple. If offered and eligible, a trial or introductory offer converts to the displayed paid plan unless canceled in time; cancel at least 24 hours before a trial ends if you do not want it to renew. Apple’s confirmation controls the specific offer.
Manage or cancel in iPhone/iPad Settings → your name → Subscriptions → VideoScript, or use Manage Subscription in the app. Deleting the app, clearing your videos, or contacting support does not cancel billing. Restore Purchases can restore eligible access using the Apple Account that purchased it; it does not restore local video files.
Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Eligibility depends on Apple’s rules and applicable consumer law. Nothing here removes a statutory refund or other consumer right.
Your content and permissions
You retain your rights in the videos and other content you import. You are responsible for having the necessary rights and permissions to process recordings, including any consent required from people recorded. Do not use the app to infringe rights or break applicable law.
You authorize the processing, local copying and selected export/sharing operations needed for the actions you request in the app. This does not transfer ownership of your recordings to us or grant a general right to publish them. Photos replacements, deletion and exports
When Export Videos is enabled, the app may save enriched replacements to Photos and request deletion of successfully replaced originals after the batch. Read Apple’s deletion prompt before confirming. If you decline or an operation fails, both versions may remain. A Photos warning should be checked before you delete either copy manually.
Deleting an entry or using Clear Videos removes app-library content and managed local files, not necessarily the original or an exported copy in Photos, Files, another app or a backup. Manage those separately. Sharing text or video metadata can disclose transcript content to the destination you choose.
Accuracy and availability
Speech recognition, language detection and AI-generated text can be inaccurate or incomplete. Verify transcripts, summaries and suggested categories against the original before relying on or sharing them. They are not professional advice or a certified record.
Apple Intelligence features require an eligible device, Apple Intelligence enabled, supported languages and available model assets. Network access may be needed for downloads, iCloud Photos, subscription validation and other connected services. You are responsible for your network/data charges.
We work to maintain the app but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every video, language or future system version. Features may change through updates; material changes to paid services remain subject to applicable law and purchase terms.
App license and acceptable use
The app’s code, branding and design remain protected by their respective owners’ rights. Your license is subject to the applicable App Store EULA and usage rules. Do not bypass subscription controls or misuse the app or its connected services. Any restrictions on reverse engineering or modification are subject to exceptions required by law and applicable open-source licenses.
Privacy and support
The Privacy Policy describes local processing, pseudonymous subscription identifiers, Firebase Analytics/Crashlytics/Remote Config, support emails and website hosting. It is inaccurate to say the app collects only an anonymous User ID. For support, contact supportvideoscript@mex.studio; review any auto-filled identifier, subscription details or attached log before sending.
Your legal rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app and generated outputs are provided as available without a promise that every operation or result will be error-free. Any warranty exclusions or limits of liability apply only where lawful. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or a remedy that cannot legally be excluded, or changes mandatory consumer protections.
Keep independent copies of important source material and verify results. Those precautions do not waive any rights you may have under applicable law.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms to reflect app, service or legal changes. The published page will identify the update or effective date, and any additional notice or acceptance required by applicable law will be provided. Changes do not retroactively remove mandatory rights. We do not promise individual email notice to users whose email addresses we do not hold.
